what’s in my inventory?
The following is my submission for this month’s Bear Blog Carnival, which asks, “what’s in your inventory?” I interpreted this to mean what’s in my EDC since I’m a casual gamer (my gaming is usually restricted to Kirby, Tetris, or Balatro lol).
the bag
I’ve been carrying one of the Trader Joe’s tote bags they released around Halloween and noticed I’ve been drawn to Halloween colors lately, especially purple. Attached is a green alien keychain and a tiny Kuromi/Baku bag for my pocket mirror and other small items. I usually have these tucked inside the tote bag so they don’t fall off. I have a pin by Bre, the zine queen herself, one from the LA metro, and one from someone I traded zines with at an event.
wallet and keys
My wallet is a Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary card case. I have the matching case for my phone because I’m crazy. My keys are attached to a Kirimi-chan keychain that my sister got for me during her visit to Japan. If you haven’t heard of Kirimi-chan, he is a sentient sliced salmon character by Sanrio. According to the wiki page, the KIRIMIchan characters “wait for the day that they will be served with all of their friends and delicious partners at the dinner table.” Nice.
hat and glasses
I don’t wear hats very often but I usually stash one in my bag because I’m not great at remembering to wear sunscreen. I also have prescription sunglasses since I wear glasses every day 😎
the notebook
Last but not least, I‘ve been journaling in a tiny notebook that I bought at Daiso for $2.50. I covered it in stickers because I cover everything in stickers.
